What is the RC&D Program?
Panhandle Resource Conservation and Development, Inc. is a public benefit, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to assisting local communities through our five areas of focus:
We are a part of the twelve Nebraska RC&D areas that cover and serve all 93 Nebraska counties. Panhandle RC&D is a member organization, with a governing council of local citizens and governments focused on finding resources to benefit our local communities. The council has an on-going mission to review and accept project proposals from local communities, organizations, and other nonprofit organizations. Once supported by RC&D, these local betterment projects can receive administrative, financial, grant-seeking, and development assistance through council committees/task forces, as well as RC&D staff.
